![]() Equishare U.S.A. has established as its mandate to: "Thrive to provide Horse Ownership like experiences to motivated riders regardless of age, background and riding ability who cannot afford the financial or time-consuming requirements of owning a horse." To fulfill this mandate, Equishare U.S.A. has involved hundreds of such riders through its sharing and riding programs nationwide and is working with Riding Academy owners to help create new Equishare U.S.A. Chapters throughout the country. Some of these Chapters offer trail riding and English or Western Lessons. Others specialize in Dressage, Combined Training or Hunt Seat Equitation. The Equishare U.S.A. Program costs about the same as a weekly private lesson, yet allows the participants to ride several times a week aboard a suitable Equishare Horse and to participate in a variety of exciting, recreational, competitive or learning activities traditionally reserved to Horse Owners and at a fraction of the cost. "It is a little bit like a combining a Pony Club and an Inter-Collegiate Organization for both Adults and Teens," says Marc Schumacher, Equishare's founder, "We even have our own classes in Shows and Special Events, our own Riding Instructors Clinics and Riders' rating system, to ensure a smooth and unilateral learning process throughout the Chapters. It is truly the Missing Link: A link between riding the often tired, unresponsive and uncooperative lesson horse and the expensive or time consuming alternative of owning your own horse. By pooling our resources and offering a great value for a fair price we are helping put Horseback Riding back on the map for many deserving aspiring equestrians who would have otherwise been turned off by the ever increasing expenses and the time constraints involved". Not only do the riders benefit from Equishare U.S.A. but the Riding Academy
